But if you have make some extra, because this is a perfect way to have them for leftovers, with a bag of frozen fries, or even making some fries from scratch!

Chili Cheese Carne Asada Fries

Prep Time: 15 minutes
Cook Time: 15 minutes
Total Time: 30 minutes
Servings: 4 people

Ingredients

  • 1 lb carne asada already cooked, leftovers preferred
  • 3 cups chili
  • 8 oz shredded cheese
  • 4 oz green onions

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 450 F and begin cooking your french fries. While the fries are cooking, chop your carne aside into bite sized pieces.
  • about 10 minutes into cooking your fries, take them out and lower the temperature to about 350 F Load on the chili
  • Top with cheese and the carne asada along with some chopped green onions , put back in the oven for about 5-7 minutes until the cheese is fully melted.
  • Serve up and enjoy!

    Isn’t using leftovers in a different way the best?! We do chili fries all the time with our leftover chili! But really, what isn’t amazing on french fries?! Throw in a cold cocktail and I’m set.
