Raspberry Lemonade Mock-scow Mule

Moscow Mules are something that has become sort of a craze in our house when the kid goes down for bed. But every now and then I crave just the refreshing flavors and ridiculously ice cold drink that comes from a copper mug. So why not have the best of both worlds without worrying about it being 5 o’clock somewhere? Making a virgin moscow mule is actually pretty amazing!
Giving a little sparkle to the drink I added Dasani Sparkling Raspberry Lemonade sparkling water to help cut down on any unnecessary sugar because you know, I have swim trunks that I’d like to fit into next month!
What to use for a virgin Moscow Mule?
I found these sleek new Dasani Sparkling water cans at Target, and found their newly rebranded look to be something I wouldn’t mind leaving out when the guests arrive for our mocktail party. Ok I don’t have those but if I did, that’s what I’d be doing! So for now I’ll just admire them from my couch!
I know what you’re thinking, “Oh, this is healthier for you, so it’s probably bland”. WRONG! Muddling some fresh raspberries, along with a squeeze of lime juice, then combined with the Dasani Sparkling Water (which I actually enjoy on its own). With just a dash of some ginger beer, this one mocktail I can drink, enjoy, and not feel guilty for having 5 of them with dinner.
And to be totally honest, I pretty much can put anything in a copper mug and enjoy it immensely. I don’t know what it is about those mug but loading it up with ice and just plain old water is amazing to me! I’ve actually heard they’re even good for hot drinks. But I haven’t ventured off into that route yet, so if anyone has had a hot drink in a copper mug, let me know how that went!

Raspberry Lemonade Mock-scow Mule
Ingredients
- 6 oz Dasani Sparkling Raspberry Lemonade
- 4-5 whole raspberries
- 1 wedge lime
- 2 oz ginger beer diet preferably
- 1/2 cup ice
Instructions
- Muddle a few raspberries in a copper mug
- add ice, ginger beer and stir
- squeeze your lime into the cup.
- Top it off with Dasani Sparkling Raspberry Lemonade
