Fried Mashed Potato balls are loaded with cheese, bacon and a little garlic and herb seasoning. Itโs the perfect thanksgiving app!
I love this recipe because its such a cinch to make! And with Ralphโs grocery delivery, I donโt even have to leave the house.
Fried Mashed Potato balls are one of those apps that you MUST bring to fight off the hanger on Thanksgiving.
And I donโt know about your home, but in mine, the hanger is real! And as much as should be prepared, I never think to have any apps out while Iโm preparing dinner, PLUS photographing it!
Could you imaging dealing with hanger, and watching your meal sitting on a flat lay for 20 minutes to be photographed? Welcome to my wifeโs worldโฆ
During Thanksgiving? Thatโs nothing I want to be a part of. I want to make sure thereโs plenty of satisfied family members and hanger levels are kept at bay!
My fried mashed potato balls are like a little preview of whatโs to come for the feast. Plus, theyโre just so satisfying and hearty that you wonโt hear any chatter from the peanut gallery on ETAs of the big meal.
In fact, you shouldnโt hear much at all. Just a lot of full and happy mouths!
I used a variety of Kroger products that I found at Ralphโs. I love Krogerโs wide variety of quality ingredients, on top of the brands I already love, which makes Ralphโs easily my go-to for all my Thanksgiving shopping!
To make these fried mashed potato balls as simple as possible I found Krogerโs Homestyle Mashed Potatoes. Theyโre all ready to rock for this recipe so it makes it an easy one to throw together.
I added a little cheese and precooked bacon to the mix as well to give it that loaded baked potato vibe.
And if youโre looking for an easy dipping sauce pick up Kroger Sour Cream and Chive dip while youโre there. Or sneak a few fried mashed potato balls to the main feast and dip them in cranberry sauce or gravy. I wonโt tell a soul!
