Hummus and Turkey Sandwich Wrap
One of my favorite things to make when I’m feeling lazy and want to feel like something light and fresh, is putting together a sandwich wrap. I discovered a while back that adding hummus to sandwich wraps make them even better!
My wife is more of a veggie person, and loves these sandwich wraps with portobello mushrooms in them. I’m more of a meat guy andย LOVE deli meat, so that’s exactly how I’m going to be sharing the recipe!
Speaking of deli, meat Ralph’s will be throwing a 24 hour FLASH SALEย on their 16 oz Oscar Meyer and Hillshire Farms Deli Favorites at 3.99 (with card) starting Friday September 9th!I love me some sales!
I normally don’t add red pepper, but to be 100% honest I needed some color to these and didn’t want to use tomato, but I’m glad I did because it adds a lovely texture and flavor to these with the combination of the hummus lined spinach wrap.
Everything just comes together and makes your mouth happy.
These sandwich wraps are great to take on the road, and unlike sandwiches in lunch bags you don’t have to worry about the bread getting smushed by the time your child gets to eat it at lunch.
I don’t know about you, but that was THE WORST part of sack lunches as a child for me. Opening my bag, seeing that the bread is now paper thin and sad. Not again with a sandwich wrap!
