Coconut Berry Acai Smoothie
Acai smoothies are my favorite, they’re delicious and full of nutrients, especially when you combine it with other fruits like blueberries and strawberries. I recently made a Acai smoothie that I wound up loving using some coconut water that I had to share!
Mornings for me lately have been super lazy. Winter mornings make it hard for me to get out of bed, and by the time I do I’m already running late. Super quick breakfasts are definitely my best friend right now. ย Smoothies are a great way to get in your nutrients and get out the door quickly.
I like to keep from using any yogurt or added sugars just so that I feel “healthy” in the morning. It makes me feel less guilty when I fall off the rails by lunch time! I do love me some mayo drenched sandwiches for lunch time!
Just kidding, mayo grosses me out!
This Acai smoothie is super simple. Just add about a cup and a half of coconut water, or 1 cup if you’re using ice, then I used those frozen Acai packets and whatever berries are in the house! This morning it was blueberry and strawberries. Its so good!
Since I’ve received my new blender, I’ve been all about blending whatever I can. Which has been working out lately with the amount of laziness that I’ve been stricken with in the morning. So smoothies for the whole family!
I’m curious, whats everyone’s favorite lazy morning breakfast to make, other than drive through breakfast! Other than hitting up McDonald’s or Del Taco in the morning, smoothies and home made egg burritos are my favorite go to’s!
Here’s to your lazy morning. Hit that snooze button a couple more times – you got a smoothie on the menu, so you can afford it!
