Potato Chip and Roast Beef Sliders (With Au Jus Recipe)

Does it get any better than game day food? With another holiday season in the books, this is my favorite part of the new year. Getting together with friends and family to enjoy Super Bowl LII eats. And now that it’s cold out, I get to blend the best of both worlds. Game day food, and comfort food.
What makes a better combo than Roast Beef sliders baked with LAYโSยฎ Classic Potato Chips?
After you try my recipe, youโll agree: not much!
Ever since I was a kid, putting LAYโSยฎ Classic Potato Chips in my sandwiches was a must. I love the added crunch and saltiness they add. Theyโre just the right thickness for sandwiches too. They hold their weight, but arenโt so crunchy that they tear your mouth up while biting into a sandwich.
Yeah, not much has changed with my chip in sandwich addiction, Iโve just taken it to the next level!
What I love about football games is the food and getting together with your friends. Yeah Iโll watch the game, and get into it, but when I leave a buddyโs house itโs the food Iโll be talking about. Good food, and good times, thatโs what game days are all about.
These Roast Beef Sliders are easy to make. Like, ridiculously easy. Cut a 12 pack of rolls in half, top with roast beef, cheese, LAYโSยฎ Classic Potato Chips. Ready for the best part? Take a little butter and herbs and brush it over the top of the rolls. Then, add the remaining Layโs to the baking sheet and drizzle butter over them. Youโve got a whole meal on one baking sheet.
And itโs soo good.
So let me talk about this au jus that you smother your roast beef slider in โ itโs so simple, yet so amazing. Beef broth, Worcestershire, a little onion garlic, and salt and pepper to taste.
Brown the onion and garlic in a little butter and bring everything up to a simmer and by the time the oven is done pre-heating youโve got an amazing au jus thatโs so good, youโll even want to use it to dip the potato chips that fall out while youโre eating.
Making ahead is always an option if youโre looking to bring this to a watch party. Everything can be made ahead of time. I would put everything on a baking sheet then cover in tin foil. When itโs ready to go in the oven, pull the tin foil off, then drizzle a little butter and herbs over everything and youโre ready to bake.
