Mince the shallot and garlic. Don't ask why I prepped 3 times the amount of shallots in this picture. I don't know myself!
With the ground beef in a mixing bowl add the garlic, shallots, mustard, ketchup, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce.
Mix the ingredients, but don't over mix. over mixing will just make mushy burgers.
Take about a palm full in your hand. Pat it flat in your hand then use your free hand to form it into a round patty
Let it rest while you get your grill pre heated.
While the grill is preheating get your garnishes ready. Oh how i wish i remembered avocado and bacon from the grocery store...
With the grill nice and hot put your patties over direct heat and cover the grill. Let them cook for 3 minutes.
Flip the burgers and let cook for another 5(medium) 6(medium well) or 7 (well) minutes. in the last 2-3 minutes on the grill put cheese on top to let them cook. Keep the grill covered as much as possible.
when the cheese is placed also add buns on the top rack face down if you want to toast them.
Once the burgers are done to your wellness, let them rest for about 5 minutes.
Get it on your bun, serve with your garnishes and enjoy!!
